Inside the Helicopter
  • Keep your seat belt fastened at all times during the flight.

  • Never approach the rear side of the helicopter due to the hazardous tail rotor.

  • Photography inside the helicopter is strictly prohibited.

  • Follow all safety instructions given by the flight crew.


Inside the Temple Premises
  • Maintain decorum and follow temple rules at all times.

      The helipad is situated in Gulabgarh Village, Block Paddar, District Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir.
    2. Can I purchase one-way tickets?
      Yes. One-way tickets can be purchased at the current booking counters located at the Kishtwar, Gulabgarh, and Machail helipads.
    3. How is the mobile network and connectivity in the area?
      Mobile connectivity in Gulabgarh is limited and primarily supports postpaid networks. Data services may be inconsistent. At Machail, network availability is also limited.

High-Altitude Conditions
  • The Machail Mata Temple is located at an altitude of approximately 9,705 ft.

  • Yatris are exposed to extreme cold, low humidity, strong ultraviolet radiation, and reduced oxygen levels.

  • As Yatris remain at this altitude for a short duration, the body does not get enough time to acclimatize naturally.

  • Yatris are advised to move slowly, avoid physical exertion, and take frequent breaks to catch their breath.


Possible High-Altitude Illnesses

Overexertion at high altitude may lead to the following conditions, depending on individual health and fitness levels:


Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)
  • Most common altitude-related illness.

  • Can occur after ascending above 2,500 meters.

Symptoms include:
  • Breathlessness

  • Headache

  • Nausea and vomiting

  • Loss of appetite

  • Fatigue and weakness

  • Dizziness

  • Difficulty sleeping


High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE)
  • A severe and life-threatening form of AMS caused by swelling of brain tissue.

  • Often develops at night and can progress rapidly.

Symptoms include:
  • Severe headache

  • Breathlessness

  • Extreme fatigue

  • Visual disturbances

  • Disorientation

  • Bladder or bowel dysfunction

  • Partial paralysis

  • Loss of consciousness or coma in advanced stages


High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE)
  • Caused by fluid accumulation in the lungs, leading to respiratory failure.

  • Typically develops during the second night at high altitude and may become fatal if untreated.

Symptoms include:
  • Shortness of breath even at rest

  • Persistent dry cough

  • Blood-stained sputum

  • Chest tightness or congestion

📜 Terms & Conditions

Aerial Photography
  • Aerial photography is strictly prohibited. Violations are punishable under applicable aviation laws.
Baggage Allowance
  • Each Yatri is permitted to carry a maximum of 5 kg of baggage. Excess baggage is not allowed.
Passenger Grouping
  • Yatris may be accommodated on different flights depending on weight and load limitations as per safety regulations.
Weather and Technical Delays
  • Trans Bharat Aviation is not liable for delays caused by weather or technical issues. In the event of a flight cancellation, Yatris are eligible for a full refund as per policy.
Right to Refuse Boarding
  • The operator reserves the right to deny boarding to Yatris who are intoxicated, unwell, behaving aggressively, or deemed unsafe for air travel.
Pregnant Passengers
  • Up to 27 weeks: Allowed to fly.

  • 28–35 weeks: A valid medical certificate is required.

  • 36 weeks and above: Not permitted to travel.

Infants
  • Infants below 2 years of age or under 10 kg may travel free of cost. Valid age proof is mandatory.
Prohibited Items
  • Carriage of dangerous or restricted goods—including flammable materials, sharp objects, explosives, and food items—is strictly prohibited as per aviation safety guidelines.
